What
are 504Fitcamp and 985FitCamp?
These FitCamps are four week total
body outdoor group fitness programs for men and women.
The programs are designed to challenge each individual
at their own fitness level. The classes will keep your
body guessing with cardio and endurance training, strength
training (using hand held weights and your own body
weight), flexibility training, mat Pilates and bootcamp
exercises. No two classes will be the same. You will
also receive a fitness assessment, nutritional advice
and t-shirt.
What if I am a beginner?
That’s ok. Most all exercises can be modified for beginners.
However, it would be best if you could at least start
a walking regime now to get your body ready for FitCamp.
No one will be left behind and everyone will be challenged.
And with our program, you won’t be a beginner for long.
Yes, there will be some running, but if you can’t run,
don’t worry, you can walk. Where
does 504 FitCamp meet?
We meet in Uptown New Orleans at Audubon Park. Enter
Audubon Park at the entrance at Magazine St. and go
past the stop sign. We meet at the pavilion on your
right (before the golf club). Where
does 985 FitCamp meet?
We currently meet in Madisonville twice weekly on Wednesdays
and Fridays. Contact
Monica for more information. How
often does 504 FitCamp meet?
504 FitCamp meets on Mondays, Tuesdays
and Thursday’s from 9:00 – 10:15 am. Participants have
a choice between either attending 2 or 3 days per week.
Participants that sign up for the two day program may
attend any two days each week.
What do I bring to FitCamp?
Please bring an exercise mat, a pair of hand weights
(5-8 pound) and cold water. What
is the cost of FitCamp?
FitCamp is a monthly program that costs
$20 per daily session payable in full before the beginning
of each month. The 3 day a week session costs $60 per
week, while the two day a week program costs $40 per
week. The price may vary slightly each month depending
on how many times we meet. Specific payment information
is outlined under the Registration section of this website.
If you are unable to commit to a month, you may drop
in to a class for $30 per class.
What kind of results can I expect?
You can expect to see many improvements in your health
and physical appearance. You will lose fat, gain muscle,
become more toned, increase your self confidence and
stamina. As a result of the strength training at FitCamp,
you will become more firm, increase your muscle mass,
and raise your metabolism for hours after class is over.
You will also see a great improvement in cardiovascular
endurance. Most importantly, you will improve your health,
reduce your risk of disease, and feel great! |
